Peppermint essential oil is a single oil called (Mentha piperita). It is one of the oldest and most highly regarded herbs for soothing digestion. Peppermint is one of the cornerstone oils used in a large number of blends. Peppermint oil creates a cool, tingling sensation on the skin, making it a favorite for sports massage.
Concentration Fact: It takes one pound of raw peppermint material to make one 15ml bottle of peppermint oil.
Potential Uses:
- Add to food as a minty flavoring
- Inhale before workout to boost your mood
- Inhale after workout to reduce fatigue
- Rub 4-6 drops over stomach to relieve indigestion, flatulence, and diarrhea
- Massage several drops on the abdomen to relieve nausea
- Rub 1 drop on temples, forehead, and back of the neck to reduce tension
- Rub 1 drop under the nose to improve alertness and concentration
- Diffuse in the room while studying to improve concentration and accuracy

I use Peppermint to curb my appetite and to relieve sunburns. My husband loves to use it as a breath mint. He says it tastes great, lasts longer than a mint, and has zero calories. NEVER use it in the bath, you will burn and tingle in places you did not know you had.
