One evening my husband draped his beloved corduroy shirt on the bench in our master closet. The following morning, he grabbed his shirt to find it had over forty pea size holes all over it. It had been devoured. Over the next few weeks, we struggled with losing one garment after the other to fabric-eating moths. These tiny little creatures seem completely harmless but after losing over $300 worth of shirts and blouses it was time for war.
Both my husband and I detest the smell of mothballs so I was tasked to find a solution to get rid of our pesky little monsters. After hunting on the internet I found my alternative moth repellent. Funny thing was it was a blend of six essential oils. The funny part is I am a Certified Aromatherapist and never thought to use my essential oils to win my war against the moths. Below is the recipe that allowed me to claim victory over my closet.
